Hi all , my name is Chelsea I am the youngest out of myself and my brother Jayden . Our mum was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer on 20th February 2018 . Our mum , Kelly, continues to suffer the after effects of cancer treatment 7 years on .

she is the most selfless women we will ever know , even when going through her treatment she was always there for anyone and everyone . Her bravery inspires me and my brother every day , nothing can stop her whatsoever .

Our mum is a women who even though she might be in pain will still try and go about her everyday life , even when she knows that it’s probably not the best idea . She will keep on going and that is what represents how strong she is .

Mum has been through so much , chemotherapy, radiotherapy, brachytherapy, hyperbaric chamber and is now awaiting a stoma operation . This stoma operation is a big operation for her due to all of the internal radiation she has.

When myself and Jayden were younger we would sit in the cancer treatment waiting area with our cups of tea and biscuits playing games on our iPads . We will always be there for her .

I am shaving my head on Wednesday the 10th of December , to show my support for my mum and appreciation for everything she does . How she keeps going even when times are really, really tough .

I wanted to raise money for cervical cancer uk to give back to the world . In the hope to make some other child’s mummy that little bit better and feel supported . I also wanted to show cancer patients that there’s more to life then hair, that they can still be beautiful and do whatever they want to do with no hair!

This challenge will be difficult for me having being bullied in school and now stepping out to do this with the mindset that I now do not care what people think.
