Have a Heart for John

Hello World,
This is our cry for help at a time we never saw coming. This is for my husband John. John and I have been married for 22 years coming up on March 14th (We've been together since July of 1995!). He is my life companion, my best friend and an amazing father to our grown up daughter Hannah. As well as his 2 other daughters and a Grandfather to 3 Grand babies. We live in beautiful Arizona. John went to Santa Rita High School in Tucson. I am his wife, Lisa. I am a Retail Store Manager.
Let me tell you a little bit about how we ended up here. John is the Site Manager for Fleet Logix at Sky Harbor International Airport here in Phoenix. He LOVES his job and has a wealth of knowledge in the industry. Recently John has experienced symptoms of pain and discomfort at work due to a knee injury. It all started with some of these symptoms so we went to have it checked out and it turns out he has several blood clots in his right leg from his groin to his ankle. Also blood clots in both lungs. He was released after finding out this information and we continued life as best we could. While at work, John experienced the same symptoms and he couldn't walk! SO he DROVE HIMSELF to the hospital, they did an MRI and saw that he had been having a series of min strokes.
Cut to today - he was readmitted and now they are telling us he has to have open heart surgery to replace the Aortic Valve in his heart as well as address any other clots in his body including
We are reaching out for prayers and financial assistance to help John get the treatment he needs to recover back to the strong, loving man he was before all this started. He is in good spirits - joking and wants to go home! Unfortunately, he situation is not giving us the option to do so. If you have ever been through a life threatening situation you know that insurance and personal savings (of which we have very little) will not make a dent in the bills to come. So I am asking those who know John and myself to help us get through the burden that is still to come once John prevails the surgery and heals quickly.
Anything helps - our salaries aren't grand. For the next few years anything extra we make will go to make sure John's heart is healthy and strong. We appreciate you taking the time to read this story and thank you in advance for the generosity you all can offer.
