Harlem's Surgery
Donation protected
On the 5th June, Harlem was hit by a car, got spooked and ran away. After 36 hours of searching by car and foot around the local area, Harlem was found this morning, 7th June snuggled in his cat bed in the backyard. He had survived wet and cold conditions, but after veterinary assessment and diagnostic imaging Harlem was found to have a Diaphragmatic Hernia and an Abdominal Hernia from the impact. As a result, he requires emergency surgery to repair the internal injuries.
As a vet nurse, I have been able to maintain good health with my pets at my workplace - Hurlstone Park Veterinary Hospital, however the injuries sustained require specialist attention at the Animal Referral Hospital.
Your support & well wishes so far after Harlem's disappearance has been amazing. My fellow pet lovers, I would appreciate any contributions towards his surgery and recovery.
Thank you, lots of love - Amanda & Harlem xxx
