Mr.Cuevas is a first generation American from South Central Los Angeles, and soon to be first-generation Ivy League graduate. Along his journey there are many accomplishments to celebrate, but also many challenges which threaten to compromise his success. Most of these challenges relate to money.
The chaotic nature of his homelife compound with a myriad of social pressures to create a perfect storm of anxiety and depression for Mr.Cuevas. Those closest to him agree that his mental and physical health, along with the completion of his undergraduate career, should top his priority list. However, Mr. Cuevas feels unable to rest and rehabilitate because he is crushed under the pressure to relieve his student debt and aid his family before he can return to Dartmouth this June for his final term.
Mr. Cuevas must pay Dartmouth a balance of thousands of dollars before the loan for his final term can be disbursed. He is trying to raise 6k to provide for these costs between now and the end of his last term in school.
