Help Save My Daddy’s Life

On November 8th, my dad was admitted to the hospital for what only seemed to be a kidney stone. Little did we know that the kidney stone that they found was what could have saved my daddy’s life.
We later found out that he had a cancer mass sitting on his esophagus that was so large, the camera could not move down to look into his stomach. They diagnosed him with Stage 4 Esophageal/ Stomach cancer that day. The cancer had already spread to several parts of his body, and was named incurable by the doctor.
My goodness, we are truly thankful for that kidney stone. Not for the pain he had to encounter, but so we could begin this road to a cancer free man.
The Lord’s timing can even be perfect in the mix of every tough situation we go through everyday. We were so blessed to have all of our family in town for Thanksgiving. We were able to spread some holiday cheer and most importantly watch the Georgia Bulldogs beat tech. (If you know my daddy, you KNOW he loves his football.)
Now, we get ready for what will be a tough, but not impossible road. In the name of Jesus, my daddy will be healed and come out of this stronger than ever. We are praying and believing in a miracle because WOW our God can do wonders. With that being said, this road is not going to be easy. We will face road blocks and have no idea what to do. But with the power of prayer and love that surrounds him, he will get through this. He WILL kick cancer’s butt.
We are asking for those who know my daddy or those that may not, to pray and donate to the financial burden this has already placed on our family. With health insurance potentially being switched and the abundant costs that we will encounter, we do not want my step mom or daddy to feel this kind of stress on top of everything else.
Thank you to those who have already reached out and for the love that has already been sent to him. Please do not stop. The mind will tell the body what to feel and I truly believe if we keep the energy as positive as we can and let him fight this fight with the soldiers around him, he will come out on top ❤️
