It has been quite the year!  On July 5th my family went up North and held a small memorial for my Dad.  It was a perfect day, exactly what he would’ve enjoyed.  

The journey continues for my Mom’s medical recovery.  For those who may not have seen this post before, in February, my Mom had a titanium cage placed on her spine. She was due to return June 1st and was physically unable to endure more than a few hours. 

I took her to the Emergency Room where an unexpected, life-saving surgery was performed to remove an intestinal blockage. 

She is again, and continues to be out of work under Dr. orders and the Medical Bills are pouring in.
