Two very happy kitties are enjoying life in NY...not a worry in the world!
My dear friend Nesma who lives between Athens Greece, and the US, went to the Greek Island Of Paros to take a rest for herself and never left. There were so many cats and kittens that needed help. She has spent the last two years spaying and neutering over 100 cats. She feeds many colonies of cats every single day, all of whom she has spayed and neutered. The people who live on this island do not want the cats spayed and neutered, although they poison the cats and drown the newborns. There are also a lot of cats hit by fast drivers, and she has been caring for cats with broken spines and jaws and is losing many of her beloved rescues every month because she has minimal space, and many must remain in the colonies. I have been a rescuer all my life; I know the hard work and dedication it takes to do this difficult all-consuming life- saving work. I also worked in Greece for several years and brought back two beautiful kitties that became the loves of my life. I have a soft spot in my heart for the animals in Greece. Nesma has used her own money for all the work she has done. We recently got two kittens a loving home in NY, and Nesma has adopted several cats to wonderful homes in Italy and France. I want to help her continue her work, there is so much animal suffering on the island, and we can not do it without your help. We are asking for donations for vet care, food and airline tickets to send cats from the island to loving homes. So please, anything you can help us with is so appreciated and needed. Thank You
