Graham Riches

As many of you know my grandad, Graham Riches (The General) recently passed away and it was his wishes for donations rather than flowers for his funeral.

He hoped for us to raise as much as possible and donate to The British Heart Foundation and to The Royal Papworth Charity.

These charities were close to his heart as Royal Papworth hospital first looked after him 21 years ago when he had a valve replacement operation and also looked after him in his final week ensuring he was well cared for and had his family all around him. They went above and beyond enabling us to spend every minute there and moving him from room to room to accommodate for us all.

He also chose The British Heart Foundation having being born with a defective valve he understands the importance of research being conducted around cardiovascular diseases.

I will be collecting this money and dividing it between the two charities and will share the donations after the funeral.
