Glenbawn AED in Memorial of Graham

Donation protected

On the 1st of October 2017, our beloved Husband Father, Brother, Uncle and Friend, Graham Fillery died at Lake Glenbawn of a sudden heart attack. He frequented Lake Glenbawn since he was a teenager and has since bought a caravan there for his family, creating memories with family and friends, with many new friends being made there too.

Although a defibrillator would not have saved him, due to the severity of his heart attack, we are fundraising for an AED in hopes that someday, it will save someone you know; your sibling, daughter, son, mother, father or friend.

At this stage, Lake Glenbawn does not have any Automated External Defibrillators (AED’s), which is vital for such a popular location for water sports, fishing and camping.

With the $3,000 we are hoping to raise, we will be able to purchase an Automated External Debrillator for the Office, from St Johns Ambulance. These machines are incredibly easy to use and tell you exactly what to do.
If possible, we would love to be able to reach $6,000, to provide another AED to the kiosk near the boat ramp.
Having two of these life savings machines, will reduce the time it takes to potentially safe someone’s life.

If these machines can save just one person's life, we know Graham would be so happy
