Give Talia the Gift of Mobility

This feels like a big ask. I am reaching out to our friends and comminity to raise funds to acquire a foldable mobility scooter for Talia. I am trying to purchase a small foldable one that can be transported easily. Unfortunately this is not something that I can afford on my own right now. .
Chronic pain and balance/dizziness concerns have become a limitation for walking long distances.
A scooter would make a huge difference, giving them back some of their freedom and independence to continue to participate in the things that bring the joy.
The current dilemna is would they rather use their energy at an activity or getting there. Walking long distances at places like Six Flags or the Zoo or the Fair is not an option lately. We tried at the fair today and it resulted in a rondevous with the paramedics. It breaks my heart to see them declining to participate in activities because they know they are going to run out of energy physically and have to recover for several days after. We have been able to rent one at Six Flags and it was thrilling to participate in activities for the day instead of being limited to a couple of hours. We are tried to get one for the State Fair but wound up not being to be able to rent it before they ran out. Owning one would afford so much more freedom to do things that most other teenagers take for granted. I know many of you have seen their drive and light. I have to see that dimmed by not being to fully participate.
Models that I am looking at range between $900 and $1,800. We would be able to take the more expensive camping and over rougher outdoor terrain. Any assistance, big or small would be greatly appreciated. It breaks my heart to see them have to decline activities due to their current health limitations. We have several models in mind. Our final selection on depends what is cost prohibitive.
