Pixie is a sweet 7 month-old Australian Cattle mix that we adopted from a rescue in October after months of no one being interested in taking her.

We soon realized Pixie was having issues walking, climbing, sitting, laying, and was in pain most nights trying to sleep. Poor Pixie has severe hip dysplasia and requires double hip replacement as soon as possible.

The first procedure took place December 16th and the second will follow as soon as she’s recovered from the first, 8-12 weeks later. Pet insurance won't cover the surgeries since this is a "pre-existing" condition. Both surgeries combined will be over $20,000.

Anyone who knows the Ribblett’s know we’ve been blessed with fur babies that are special and need us more than we know. Pixie was meant to be with us so we could help get her healed. Any help from those close to us or those who feel it in their hearts and can help, it would be greatly appreciated.
