Give Guinness a chance to live

Update [12:35pm 02/27]: Guinness has been at ICU for about 52 hours. He is in critical but stable condition. He continues to receive 6 drugs & fluids through IV. He smells food, but does not eat it; he also drunk a bit of water a couple of times. However, he regurgitates liquid food that is given to him via a special tube that runs through the nose directly to his abdominal.
To optimize usage of remaining funds, we are going to transfer Guinness back to the regular vet who has graciously agreed to provide 24/7 care provided Guinness' blood work does not get significantly worse (results to be available in the afternoon when we transfer the pup and do the test; we did not do blood work at ICU today to save money). We keep hopes high!
Update [2:30pm 02/26]: Guinness has been under 8 drugs in the last 30 hours. He has reacted well to the meds and did not puke overnight - this is a great sign! We hope to collect enough funds to keep him in IV for another 48-72 hours.
Guinness' story.
Last Sunday, February 21, we adopted a puppy from an out of state rescue center. We deliberated on many names, but decided to call him Guinness. :-)
We had no idea that our new family member was silently suffering from a deadly parvo virus...
Upon arrival to our house, Guinness started showing symptoms of parvo: bloody diarrhea and nausea (he could not hold any food or water). On Monday, we brought him to the vet who has been treating Guinness with antibiotics and fluids until today's morning.
Unfortunately, Guinness started feeling worse today in the morning and we had to place him in intensive care, which is very costly (about $1,700 per day). At this point, Guinness has 50% chance to survive. Nonetheless, we decided to give him a chance and share our love in the future.
We do have a comprehensive pet insurance, but it won't cover the expenses for pre-existing illness...
Our ask.
I don't know how to ask for help in such situations, but we need help in covering medical expenses for Guinness because we are currently on a student visa and live off savings and a six-digit student loan.
Even a small contribution from you will be the biggest gift for Kseniya's 30th birthday on March 17th. Thank you!
We pray for Guinness and hope he will recover!
