Hi everyone, my name is Melissa Albertson. Recently, my husband Zack rescued a tiny kitten who came running up to him, badly injured with what turned out to be a broken leg. We searched to see if anyone was missing their kitten, but after no luck, we knew he was meant to be part of our family.

Zack took him to the vet right away, where we learned he will need surgery as soon as possible to repair his leg. The estimated cost is around $6,000. The vet believes he was likely hit by a car, but despite everything he’s been through, he is incredibly sweet, loving, and, as the staff called him, “the perfect gentleman.”

We don’t usually feel comfortable asking for financial help, but this unexpected expense has put us in a difficult spot. This little guy, lovingly named Gimpy by Zack,

truly deserves the chance to heal and live a happy, pain-free life.
