Give Artemis (Bay on the left) one last chance

I am fundraising for my horse “niece” Artemis. Artemis has been battling chronic sinus infection due to a fractured tooth for a year now. Stefanie is a very dear friend to me. We bought our girls at the same time. After a few months Artemis began having a runny nose and so the treatment began. Unfortunately Stefanie has spent thousands of dollars for Artemis to have 2 CT scans and 3 failed surgeries. Each surgery they find more unhealthy tissue. The last surgery was supposed to be her last but sadly she has shown symptoms of the sinusitis coming back. Artemis goes for another CT scan at the end of the month and if a solid plan with a good chance of success she will go in for her 4th surgery. There are so many expenses that come with a horse needing surgery outside the original vet bill. This includes stall rest and the boredom busters that come with that, extra meds, transportation, hospital board and even special face masks for her.

This horse is very near and dear to my heart. I want to ask people to pitch in even $5 to help Artemis so Stefani doesn’t have to make the impossible decision too soon.

Artemis is a silly girl that loves her kitty friend orange. She enjoys playing with toys, chasing kitties, stealing treats and unzipping your jacket. We are hoping to raise funds for what we hope is her final surgery. If for some reason she isn’t a candidate for surgery anymore then the donations will be refunded if possible or donated to a local horse rescue.
