Giuseppe Ruocco SAE Initiation

Many of you remember Giuseppe Ruocco. As you know, he was a Colony Active, from Pledge Class Epsilon, but some do not realize he was never initiated as a Chapter Member when we received our Charter. Giuseppe was a Brother Hero. He participated in all events, both social, athletic, and charitable.  A friend and Brother to all, he initiated, supervised, and worked hard with myself and the Eta Pledge Class doing the landcaping and touch ups / repairs to our rented Chapter House for reception of National Delegates when we received our Charter. He helped us get the Charter in '85 in many ways. Unfortunately, he left UNLV without graduating, just prior to the conversion to a Chapter, making him ineligible to be Chapter initiated. He never returned to college in time to be initiated, and due to his untimely death in 1995 he is now a Chapter Eternal Brother, so that route is no longer possible. I have always wanted to see Giuseppe become Chapter initiated, it is long overdue. He deserves to be listed in our rolls as a SAE Brother. I have begun the paperwork / process, and have the blessing of many NV-B Alumni, and support of the Province Archon. Once the process is competed and approved, we will need to raise the $310 fee.  I have set the goal to $500 to cover GoFundMe fees, a large photo of Giuseppe for the ceremony, and a display for the Pin.  If we continue to get contributions, we will use them for the Initiation ceremony as we plan to have a memorial and reunion next year.  The more we raise, the more we can add. We can possibly rent a space for the reunion, Initiation.  I will spend every cent on this event.  I know this is what Giuseppe would want, and he earned the honor of being listed on the rolls as a Chapter Nevada Beta member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity.
