Gilmore Family Flood Relief

Thanks to 4+ feet of water in their home, my brother and sister in-law just lost everything. Having just moved in less than 2 weeks ago, they had just bought new furniture for their home as they just found out a few weeks ago that they are pregnant with their first child. Their first home just became their biggest loss.

My parents' home was also invaded by floodwaters Saturday night, causing them to retreat with what they could grab onto their second floor. After being rescued by boat, they find themselves staying with kind strangers elsewhere in Houston. They don't know how long they will have to be there, but everything down stairs is likely ruined along with their van and my sister's car.

My heart is broken for them, and any donation that you can make to help them rebuild would be appreciated. My parents didn't have flood insurance as their home is not in a flood zone and has never flooded in the about 20 years that they have lived there. My brother and sister in-law were in the process of applying for flood insurance. Unfortunately, the storm didn't wait for them.
