GIL GONZALES CREMATORY SERVICES AND OTHER BILLS
Donation protected
On April 11th, my hero and father Gil Gonzales was taken from us, leaving behind only my mother and beautiful memories. He was hospitalized for 3 days, fighting for his life against Covid-19, until his body couldn't fight any longer. My mother, who lived with my father is currently in self-quarantine due to her exposure, and she remains asymptomatic. We kindly ask for your prayers, that my mothers covid results come back negative. My dad always put his family first, even before himself. He was a kind, generous, compassionate and caring human being. I can go on and on about his character, but the fact that we lost him so suddenly is still a shock. Having to remove my mother immediately from New York, self-quarantine at a nearby hotel and distance myself from her has hindered the grieving process. Not to mention arranging an out-of-state funeral/cremation service with extremely long wait time for respective funeral services, due to increased mortality rate with Covid-19.
I am asking for your kind donations to give my father the proper funeral and cremation services he deserves, and settling his hospital bills. Any donations left over will go directly to my Mother, Lourdes Gonzales, to cover airfare, quarantine expenses such as hotel for self-quarantine, Covid-19 testing, PPE, sanitation supplies, and other unexpected expenses.
Our family, especially my Mother is greatly disheartened and shattered by this sudden, unexpected death and we all thank you for your help and support in these trying times!
