Hi my name is Mike Brend I am fundraising for Mike Bengford’s two great kids!!
It pains me to be writing this. We lost a great man, Father, and friend Thursday night, Mike Bengford. He suffered a heart attack at his home in Aurora. Mike was only 51 and our prayers are with his two young boys. Mike was a hard worker doing everything he could to support the boys. He was at Auto Plus in Addison for over 30 years helping people and always found time to be with those boys.
Mike Bengford had two boys, CJ 13-year-old and Noah 12-years-old. They are good kids that go to Annunciation School. They both are active in sports with the park district in Aurora. These boys are now facing a future without their dad and are way too young to face the uncertainty that they are in. Mike was a good dad and was the main source of income for the family. Mike was a single father that had full custody of CJ for the last 12 years. Mike and Janelle had Noah, then worked hard to raise these kids together as a family. Janelle is hoping to have custody of CJ as well who calls her mom to keep these boys together and to continue staying together. Mike unfortunately had very little life insurance. Nobody could have expected this situation and with the cost of life did not have much in savings. Leaving the two young boys and Janelle in a difficult situation. We are starting a 529 College/education plan for the boys with the money. He will be lost in so many ways to everyone but most of all to these boys. Please help them with a donation and send your prayers to the boys.
