Naomi, Caitlin, Bella, Aaliyah, Lexi and Phebe have all worked incredibly hard to qualify for the IAIGC World Championships - this is a huge achievement for them! Jumpz Academy is very proud of these fantastic gymnasts and all the hours they have put in since September to perfect their routines. This season they have competed in 2 mandatory local competitions on all four apparatus, gaining a challenging qualification score to advance to the next level of qualification. This has brought them to the national stage, soon to be competing in a national qualifier and hoping to achieve an even higher qualification score this time around! There will also be an International competition to compete at in April. They will then be eligible to compete in Las Vegas at the IAIGC World Championships and will have the opportunity to compete all four apparatus at their respective levels as well as specialising their best events at a higher level! This is an amazing chance for them to compete against gymnasts from all over the world and make friends from different countries. This is a hugely exciting opportunity and we can’t wait to watch them represent both the UK and our club with pride!
Here is a little bit of information about every gymnast going!
Naomi;
I started gymnastics when i was 14 which was a little harder- but with a lot of determination and the help of great coaches i managed to get to a competitive level. I then took a break to complete a university degree and upon completing that i have decided to come back to a sport that i love!
Caitlin;
Caitlin has been doing gymnastics since she was 7, now at 19 her love for the sport is still present. Caitlin has been fortunate to travel to the world championships before so already knows how special it is to be given this opportunity. Thanks to the amazing coaches at Jumpz, they have made her confidence in herself grow, and they continue to believe and invest their time into her, making it possible for all of this to happen.
Bella;
Bella has been a gymnast since she was 5 years old. Now aged 11, she has been competing locally for a couple of years. Bella joined Jumpz Academy in 2024 so this is her first year competing in the USAIGC competition. She absolutely loves gymnastics and Jumpz and is so happy to have qualified for the World Championships. Her favourite apparatus is floor for which she has won a number of medals. She is so excited to attend her first international competition.
Aaliyah;
Aaliyah is a 9-year-old passionate gymnast who has been doing gymnastics since she was 5 yrs old. She has excelled in her gymnastics skills so well that she has made it to this stage. Not long ago she was invited to Germany to compete for her country too, which she was amazing at. Gymnastics is her life. Anywhere and everywhere we go, she's doing some sort of gymnastic skills!
She is proud of herself, and so am I. As her mother, I will support her dream to go to America and do what she loves and does best! Giving her an opportunity that may never happen again and being able to travel abroad, meet new people from all over the world, and make beautiful memories to last a lifetime! It's a story to always remember and tell.
Phebe;
Phebe started gymnastics formally at the age of 5. She has always been bending rolling jumping and upside down from a young age. Her passion for the sport is undeniable and gymnastics is her happy place, she loves training and competing with her friends, and would do gymnastics all day everyday if she could.
Lexi;
My name is Lexi and I am a competitive gymnast with Jumpz Gymnastics club. I have qualified for an international competition in June 2025 in Las Vegas, America and I am so excited to represent both my club and the United Kingdom. This is a fantastic opportunity for me and my teammates and we are hoping to raise some money towards the trip both for us and for our amazing coaches who travel with us and give up their family time so we can compete.
