Get Amara Stable Housing!

Hi everyone! I am fundraising on behalf of my dear friend Amara, who urgently needs our help right now. Amara recently moved down to San Diego County, CA from Washington, and a few weeks ago they went through a prolonged medical episode that required multiple visits to the ER within a week’s time. This was unfortunately followed by a mental health crisis that they are only now recovering from. Although they have a job lined up to start in about a month, their living situation has become unstable. The money we raise will go towards a security deposit for a place to live and other expenses associated with moving, as they’re currently staying with a friend in San Diego County who no longer has the capacity to continue housing them. Amara needs a safe and stable place to stay ASAP, along with furniture, housewares, etc.

Amara currently is relying on the help of friends, as both of their parents have passed away in the last few years. They are an older sibling to two awesome kids up here in Washington, and anyone familiar with the Rodriguez family knows that Amara is a bright, caring, compassionate and beautiful person who more than deserves help from their community in a time of need.
