Support Georgia's Journey to Junior Gold 2025

Hi, my name is Georgia Rahla. I have been given another opportunity to bowl and represent Washington State at the Junior Gold Championships in Green Bay, Wisconsin this July. Would you consider helping me get there?

The Junior Gold Championships is an annual bowling tournament that brings the best of the best youth bowlers together from all over the United States, as well as Canada. Those who qualify are put into divisions based on age. As an example, I will be participating in the Girls’ U18 division. At Junior Gold, I will have the opportunity to continue to improve my skills and compete against some of the top bowlers from all over the country. I feel the best part about attending this tournament is making new and reuniting with friends who love bowling as much as I do!

A little bit about me and how I got to where I am: I began bowling at age eight, in a junior bowling league at Kenmore Lanes (Kenmore, WA). I took my first trip to Pepsi West Sectionals in 2018. This was just the beginning of my competitive bowling journey. Since then, I have competed in numerous tournaments, including the Washington Youth Masters, Washington State USBC Princess and South Sound USBC Ladies Classic, as well as series tours like Washington Youth Bowler’s Tour and Junior Bowler’s Tour. I love the sport of bowling and have gained knowledge, skills and, above all, confidence.

This is my ramp-up year, having just over one year of high school remaining. I have my sights set on going to college and majoring in Pediatric Nursing. Bowling will be an added bonus! I am really looking forward to meeting with college bowling coaches while at Junior Gold, with the hopes of narrowing down my choices of where I’d like to go.

All funds raised will be put toward travel, lodging and all expenses related to Junior Gold. Any funds above and beyond will go toward future tournaments.
