George Martinez - COVID 19 Death

Donation protected
The person you see above is, George Martinez. George was an incredible husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He used to help others when they needed help. He was there for people without any hesitation. He was strong and easy to get along with. Unfortunately, in the middle of April, George and his wife both became ill with flu-like symptoms. On April 22nd, George and his wife drove to California Hospital Medical Center where they were both diagnosed with the Coronavirus. Fortunately, his wife was able to come home the same day but unfortunately, George had to stay for further treatment.

On April 27th, George was induced into a coma to help fight the virus. During the month of May, George fought for his life where some days he was stable. The doctors and nurses were seeing improvements. But after several treatments and receiving a plasma transfusion, his organs began to slowly fail by the end of May. It started with his right lung collapsing to his left lung collapsing, then to his kidneys and liver failing.

In the afternoon of June 7th, 2020 his heart stopped. On this day, George Martinez lost his battle with Covid-19. He fought long and strong but is now resting in peace. We ask as a family to please donate for funeral expenses as these times are rough and due to stay at home orders, his wife and kids have stopped working and cannot afford the full amount for the services.

The Martinez family would love to thank you for all the love, support, and prayers.
