Hi! My name is Dermott and I am starting this campaign to raise money for gender affirming care. In so many ways, transitioning has been the most meaningful and life giving journeys I have embarked on. As I look ahead toward 2025, I am planning to continue the work of making my body feel more like it’s mine and a place in which I can rest safely. Financial stress weighs heavily on me at this point in my early career, and the worry of being able to pay my care is the biggest obstacle I am facing at this time.
