GareBear’s Care!

Loving, Caring, Friendly, Selfless, Husband, Father, Brother, Son. Those are only a few of the words that fall short of describing the greatest man I know, my father, Gary Robinson. I would be willing to bet that if you know him, you’d say the same.
As some of you may know, on the morning of Thanksgiving, Thursday November 23rd, 2017, Gary suffered through an allergic reaction to the medication lisinopril. This caused his throat and tongue to swell, blocking his airway and causing what is classified as an anoxic brain injury.
He is stable and progressing, day by day, though slowly. He was recently transferred to the University of Kentucky Hospital after spending 26 days in Kings Daughters Medical Center, Here he will receive further and better treatment on his road to recovery. Yes, I’m looking at you KDMC.
I am starting this, we are starting this, because my, our mom, Lisa, has not left my Dad’s side for the last month. She is not working, nor is my Dad.
Some have been asking how to donate or what they can do, so I wanted to provide that opportunity. We are not actively seeking donations by any means, but this is a platform for those who feel lead to do so.
This is and has been an extremely difficult situation for my family. We appreciate all of the prayers and any support. 100% of funds raised here will go to support medical and living expenses for my Mom and Dad in order to help ease financial burdens during this situation.
We can’t thank you enough.
