Gary Don McMullin, beloved husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at the age of 80.
Born April 9, 1937, in Kansas City, MO to Richard and Helen McMullin, Gary moved to Long Beach, CA with his family at the age of 9. He graduated with a degree in engineering from UCLA in 1959 where he was a member of the Triangle Fraternity.
He married Sandra Griffin in 1959. They had three children, Michael, Janet, and Timothy. Gary loved his family, which besides his children included his wife of 16 years, Fleur, brothers Charles and Robert, stepdaughters, Azure and Lya, grandchildren Justin, Joseph, and William, and great-grandchildren Rebecca, Hannah, and Henry.
Over the years, he generously contributed to various charities including (but not limited to): Red Cross, March of Dimes, and the Salvation Army.
Gary was loved by all who knew and worked with him.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting financial assistance to help pay medical bills and other related expenses. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
