Gaga Ball Pit Project for Montessori School

Donation protected
Hi,

As many of you are aware, a new Gaga ball pit has been constructed on the east side of the Bowling Green Montessori school. Gaga ball is a fast-paced game played in a pit, similar to dodgeball but with a focus on striking the ball with your hands rather than throwing it. The objective is to eliminate other players by hitting them below the knees with the ball.

This construction was the culmination of the third and final phase of the homework project selected and completed by my son, Ian Luring. This was a bold and expensive endeavor that he chose and we almost said no, but he really wanted the school to have a Gaga ball pit for his classmates to enjoy having another activity at recess. The total cost for the pit was over $400 and took several hours in the span of 2 days to complete.

This is not an official school campaign but I am asking if you would consider donating to this project if you would like to help out after the fact. From the initial reactions of the teachers and students, it looks like the project was an overwhelming success and will be enjoyed for many years to come!

Thanks for your consideration in helping to fund the project.

Regards,

Jeremy Luring
