Arley and I became friends in 3 minutes, those who know him know what I mean... He is a great guy, can be an asshole but is wise and mature enough to walk away and cool down before he shows it... And his favorite hobby is being the third blade truck and laughing all day long at the shinanagins in front of him... my blonde moments included...
Bottom line is he and Kathy and family et all have had a hard time lately, Arley went home for the third chemo appoinment every month that he never misses, the one where they do all the tests and see if we are making progress or what direction to go... Things last Tuesday went okay so he drove from Fort Dodge IA to Corpus Cristi TX to load a blade, and then Kathy took a turn for the worse and ended up in the ER the morning after he arrived in Corpus. He drove right back to Fort Dodge IA without a thought... That's just who he is.
Since then the prognosis has worsened, from 2 years to 6 months, now 2-3 months... Then today Kathy went to the ER again and got admitted to Hospice...
That sucks rocks, but Cancer SUCKS!
Here is the 2nd Bottom Line... Kathy should know everything is taken care of so she can enjoy every moment. Arley should not be worried and have to make a decision to go run a load or two to make sure she doesn't worry about funeral or obit or anything being paid for...
THE BOTTEM< BOTTEM LINE ..... These are two great people (Arley I know, but if Kathy married and put up with him she must be even cooler...) And they should spend every minute they can together... So I'm putting this site up to raise money so they can...
Those of you that have known Arley know what I'm talking about. Those that know me but not him know I couldn't put this together if I didn't care so much... lol
Aaron Bellmyer had this idea to put this up, Kudos to him...
So... Please if everyone where to donate just a few dollars, they could spend every minute together, if a few donated more that might cover some bills, if a few fortunate people could donate even more, maybe we could keep Arley home with Kathy instead of coming back out to run a load or two... It's the right thing to do, and I want them to be care-free and enjoy every moment.
Thank you in advance for all your support.
And PLEASE share any and all ways you can...
THANK YOU!!
