On the morning of May 14th, Connie faced a life-altering moment and was struck by a truck while crossing the intersection at 1st and Goodlander in Selah. She was transported to the local hospital and then flown to Harborview in Seattle with her husband, Russ.

Connie sustained severe injuries including a fractured skull, a brain bleed, multiple broken ribs, and a collapsed lung. While her injuries are serious we remain optimistic about the potential for a positive outcome. It is expected that she will be in the hospital for several weeks.
