Future Criminologist Needs Your Help to Attend John Jay!
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Taryn Cullum, and I’m beyond excited to share that I’ve been accepted to my dream school—John Jay College of Criminal Justice! I’ve always been passionate about understanding human behavior and the justice system, which is why I plan to major in Criminology and Forensic Psychology. This opportunity means everything to me, but financial obstacles are making it difficult to turn my dream into reality.
From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by the intersection of psychology and the law. My goal is to use my education to make a difference in the criminal justice system, whether through research, profiling, or advocacy. Getting accepted to John Jay—a school known for its excellence in criminal justice—was a dream come true, but now, I face the challenge of funding my education.
Despite applying for scholarships and working to save money, I still have a significant financial gap that stands between me and this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
The cost of tuition, housing, books, and living expenses in New York City is overwhelming. I’ve done everything I can to make this happen, but I can’t do it alone. That’s why I’m reaching out to my community for support—any donation, big or small, brings me one step closer to achieving my goals.
If you’re able to contribute, I would be incredibly grateful for your support. Every dollar goes directly toward making my education possible. If you can’t donate, simply sharing my story with others would mean just as much.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for believing in me. Your generosity and kindness bring me closer to achieving my dreams, and I can’t wait to make the most of this opportunity!
With gratitude,
