Funeral Service for Donette
Donation protected
My dear mother, Donette Angelina Dixon also known by her nickname Dawn has been in my life for only 26 years but will live in my heart forever. She would always keep up with her doctor’s appointments and so found out she had endometrial cancer, which gradually progressed due to it’s aggressive nature. Now I can’t believe I am planning my mother’s funeral. Our time living in the USA as immigrants, staying out of trouble and working as a home aid/ domestic engineer with Miracle Maids cleaning service and even in Jamaica where she hails she worked various jobs and is one of the most hardworking, jovial, kind, God-fearing, loving and determined person I was blessed to be the daughter of. Words can’t describe the amazing people my mother and I were blessed to come across from her jobs and knowing how hard it is financially to get by house cleaning and myself working in retail I know the struggle. I believe with the help from all we know and anyone who is able to, my mother will be able to get a decent farewell. Any amount will be greatly appreciated, Funeral will be held at Frank J Barone Funereal Home in Brooklyn, Sept 30, 2018 3p-5p.
