Funeral & Memorial Fund for Carol Dalglish

CAROL LEIGH DALGLISH

25th November 1946 - 30th September 2023

It is with deep sadness that I assist the Dalglish family in sharing the news that their beloved mother and grandmother Carol has passed away unexpectedly on 30th September 2023 after a short illness at age 76.

Carol's sudden death occurred just three (3) weeks after the family arrived in the UK to begin a new life together after the devastating loss of her granddaughter Avalon just months before.

Carol's passing has come as a terrible shock. We all knew how much she and her family looked forward to moving back to England and the many plans they had together, especially after having been dealt such a cruel hand already this year. Carol was incredibly excited to explore her new village neighbourhood and after living in the inner city for the past two years while they saved to move, she was also thrilled to return to her beloved pastime of gardening. She spoke passionately about creating a country garden in memory of her granddaughter that she could proudly share photos of with friends and family abroad. Little did any of us know that this was never going to be.

The effort and expense the Dalglish family had in getting themselves and their remaining belongings to the UK was enormous and the cost of yet another funeral this year is far too much for this already broken family to bear.

Over her lifespan Carol touched many hearts (and minds) whilst spending countless hours raising money and delivering education to improve the lives of those who needed it most. Her heart was big, and her charity was endless.

I am respectfully asking all those who knew this incredible lady, both personally and professionally, to dig deep and donate in memory of our beloved friend and colleague at a time when she needs it most.

I am pleading for you all to join in giving to the Dalglish family to assist in providing the money and peace of mind they need to lay our beloved Carol to rest.
