Funeral and memorial for John Klein

I'm editing to add that I've reached my goal  in an hour by an extremely generous and loving friend of my dad's. Our needs are officially met and I cannot be more grateful. I am adding another 1,000 to my goal in hopes to further help my step mom and siblings and baby nephew.  This is especially hard on them and my dad would want them to be taken care of. I never would've expected to get close to my goal so I only made it the bare minimum. Thank you for your generosity.  I wish he was here to see all the love.  

My name is Jess and on June 7th my father, John, unexpectedly passed away. He left behind his loving wife, 3 children, 4 grandchildren, and his parents. My grandparents have now lost 3 children, 2 of which were this year alone. We are all deeply saddened and shocked that our family has to go through so much tragedy. My dad was just an absolute light shining in such a dark world. He loved and cherished family more than anything and was always ready to give a helping hand. He was the best at telling stories and making people laugh. Even when he was down, he never let it show and instead, spent his time making everyone around him smile. He worked so hard to support everyone and fought through so much pain just to accomplish each day. I have never met a more dedicated person. My dad was just a special, one of a kind man and we are struggling to find peace without him.

I am asking for help raising funds to ease some of this burden. The funeral and memorial will cost around 2,500 and I am also hoping to raise funds for his wife Jeannie, daughter Alyssa, and grandson kai, who lived with him and have now lost significant income. I hope to raise enough to give them the support they desperately need.

My dad was a hero to all of us and I just want to honor him in a way he deserves.
