Funds to support Reagan and Tommy

Hi everyone,

This fundraising effort is for Tommy Lechanski and his girlfriend Reagan McCray. Tommy is a respected member of the saltwater aquarium industry and has worked at World Wide Corals for 5 years. He is a loyal friend, he loves his family, and he loves the Buffalo Bills! His girlfriend Reagan lights up any room she walks into. She has a heart of gold, teaches elementary school K-5 music, and is a music director for a Catholic Church on weekends.

Over the past week, tragedy struck my friends as Tommy and his girlfriend Reagan were driving home from the grocery store and their vehicle was shot at. A bullet entered their car and went directly through Reagan’s face entering just below her eye on the left side of her face, passing through her sinus cavity, and exiting her right cheek. Tommy also sustained injuries from glass shrapnel from the window. During this process Tommy, who was driving the vehicle, immediately called 911 and ripped his shirt off trying to put pressure onto Reagan’s wound. During the next several horrifying moments he waited for 911 responders to arrive and assist.

Reagan was taken to ORMC where she received immediate facial reconstruction surgery and would spend the next several days in the hospital with Tommy at her side ready to help her in any way possible.

Together they have a long road to recovery. They face large medical bills as well the mental stress of the what they have just gone through. They don’t feel safe going home and may move as a result of what has happened.

For anyone who knows Tommy and Reagan you know they are the best friends you could ask for. Funny, kind, loving, and real. If you have anything you can give to support them no matter how big or small, know that it will be appreciated and truly used to assist in their recovery.
