Hi, this is S. Prema, aged 34, homemaker and a mother of two toddler sons aged 7 and 1.5 years. I am reaching out to you in a time of greatest need.

Initially, I was diagnosed with cancer, critical stage 4 - CA (breast with liver metastasis), which is a very rare occurrence at the young age of 34.

Till now, I have undergone 15 cycles of chemotherapy and 24 cycles of targeted therapy and have spent more than 35 lakhs so far.

Amidst my treatment and the great care of my lovable husband, who has spent all our movable and immovable assets and funds, I got my disease spread to my brain and developed metastasis there. I have a type of cancer, Herceptin +ve, which is a fast-spreading mutation. Due to this, it has spread to multiple places in the brain in a short span. I had whole brain radiotherapy (WBRT) for the same, which stopped the spread for a few months.

I was very happy with my kids at that time. For hardly 5 months, though we lost all our funds, I thought my kids had their mom.

Now again, tumors started progressing in my brain. Now I am in critical need of switching to another targeted therapy treatment, which is the only available option right now to fight this aggressive form of cancer.

I am currently undergoing treatment at Gleneagles Health City, Perumbakkam, Chennai 600100.

The total cost required for the present treatment is 24 lakhs ($30,000), and unfortunately, we have already spent all our family resources in fighting the disease in the previous stages of my treatment for the past 2 years.

Doctors have suggested this treatment now to extend my survival tenure. I wish to survive to a maximum extent for my toddler kids and my husband, who has almost sacrificed everything.

Now I am in a desperate state in need of financial help to continue my further treatment.

Cancer has changed our life destiny in many ways we have never imagined, but I am determined to fight with all my strength... for the sake of my young kids.

The treatment I need is essential to control the spread of the disease and have a chance to live.
