Fundraiser for Larry and Amanda Kutay

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out with a heavy heart to share the difficult journey Larry is currently facing. If you know Larry, you know that he hasn’t been well for some time. He has severe stenosis in three areas of his back that limit his mobility and cause him horrendous pain. In November he was also diagnosed with fatty liver disease that causes fluid to build up in his abdomen. Normally the fluid is removed with no complications. In December we went to the ER to have the fluid removed, but complications ensued. The fluid that was removed contained bacteria and he became septic. Sepsis is not easy on its own, but because of the liver disease it caused his kidneys to shut down and he went into renal failure. With many, many prayers and antibiotics, Larry began to recover and after almost four weeks in the hospital, Larry came home. He came home with his old back problems, new liver problems, and muscles in his legs that had atrophied because of his long hospital stay. I, Amanda, have been by his side every day, having to help him do almost everything. Because we do not know where this new journey is taking us, we have been left with a financial burden. Larry's pay has run out and we are having to close our restaurant due to his need for constant care. We have applied for disability, but that process can take months to materialize. In the meantime, we are piling up medical bills and living expenses with no money coming in. We are reaching out to our community, friends, and family for support during this difficult time. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant impact on our family.
