Fund for Amanda Hall

Anyone who knows Amanda knows what a ray of sunshine she is, and how much joy and love she brings to any life she touches.  On her way home from work on Wednesday evening, February 7th , she was in a terrible motorcycle accident involving a car stopped in the carpool lane.  Luckily, she was able to maneuver mostly out of the way of the vehicle but caught her leg on the bumper resulting in a broken femur and multiple compound fractures which will require multiple surgeries, skin grafts, a bone graft, and up to a year of active recovery. 

We are raising money to help her with the bills she has and will accrue over this period of time.

We are also asking for blood/platelet donations for Amanda, as well as in her name, at Memorial Long Beach (you can also donate at other blood banks and have it shipped to Memorial).  She is B+, so she can receive B+, B-, O+, O-.
To donate platelets, you will need to donate blood (regardless of blood type) first, and within 2 weeks they will test your platelet counts to see if you can donate. It doesn’t matter what blood type you are to donate platelets.
Regardless of blood type, you can donate in the name of Amanda Hall, which will reduce the cost of her hospital bills as well as replenish the Blood Bank's stock.
If you have had a tattoo or piercing done in California and it is healed you can donate.
