Annette & Family Fire Fund
Donation protected
The holidays are upon us and while no time is right for hardship, challenges this time of year seem to hit the hardest. On Saturday, December 2, 2017 our friend Annette Whigham Wright, her husband Roger and their sons Quincy and Jordan were out and about doing what most of us do on Saturday’s. Annette received a call from a neighbor saying, Annette your apartment is on fire. Weak with worry she and her husband made their way back to their home. As they approached the building Annette’s knees buckled as she caught sight of her sons bedroom. The ceiling and walls were gone. What hadn’t burned was water damaged and unsalvageable. They lost everything they owned. Red Cross has placed Annette and her family in a hotel for the time being.
In the spirit of Christmas I’m hoping that each of us will give generously to help Annette and Roger get back on their feet. You will be blessed abundantly for your kindness.
All the best, Melody
