Our uncle has experienced more heartbreak than anyone should have to endure. After 68 years of marriage, he lost the love of his life Edna on December 22. Together, they built a life filled with love, kindness, and unwavering devotion. Their home was more than just a house—it was a place of peace, comfort, laughter, and cherished memories shared with family and friends. Then, on August 1, 2026, tragedy struck again when the Bradley Creek Fire destroyed his home on the Okanagan Indian Reserve. The home he and his wife created together—the place that held a lifetime of memories—was gone. While nothing can replace the love they shared or the memories they made, we can help him take the first steps toward rebuilding. We are asking for your support through this GoFundMe to help with immediate needs, temporary housing, clothing, household essentials, pet supplies and rebuilding his life after these devastating losses. Fredrick Louis, also known as Freddy, is a father, brother, an uncle, great uncle, and grandfather to our family. He is a 91 year old elder that recently lost his home in the Bradley Creek Fire. Freddy and his dog Princess resided in their home until it was lost.
