My friend Candy & Family

Donation protected
This is my friend candy, she lived the dream, marrying her high school sweet❤️, happily married for 13 Years, 4 beautiful children. Her husband moved her from Az to Tx, several years after leaving everyone she knows & loves. She was faced with infidelity in her 13 year long marriage, so now this life long housewife was now a single mother with 4 children. Lucky she met her night & shining armor an US Army gentleman. They fell in love & got married, not only did he accept Candy, but her 4 children also. Their marriage was far from the fairy tale story, because not only did Shawn take on this already made family, but shortly after they got married GOD blessed them both with a baby. Shortly after Candy got pregnant, the Army sent Shawn back to the front lines. That's right he had already done a 18 month tour. (he thought he was done with the war & thought he only had a little time left, they wouldn't send him back, but they did). So for most of Candys pregnancy her new husband & 1st time daddy, was deployed for 18 more months. So while he went into Iraq to get soldiers out, all the military vehicles. Etc. insurgents attacked the base he was in and tried to set off car bombs. In the meantime his 1 & only daughter was being born. He finally got to meet his daughter after her 1st birthday.

In June 2014 Candy was told she had Bells Palsy, things got worse for her. Her eye stopped blinking or did randomly. One side of her face no longer worked properly.
7 months later in January 2015 (keep in mind this was well over a year ago), she went suddenly deaf, come to find out her ear drum ruptured. She lived 4 days of a loud ringing in her head, then the ringing stopped, she was now able to hear out of her 1 ear.
8 months after that, in August she suddenly had double vision, her loving & scared husband rushed her to the Er thinking she was having a stroke. During this time Candy or her family had no insurance & for some unknown reason this Er/hospital had no access to a MRI machine.
During all this time Candy was out job searching, she found & secured a job. So in October her insurance kicked in, she went to see a doctor about this "bells palsy" because it was getting worse. The doctor immediately sent her for an emergency MRI.
In November my friend was told she had a tumor on her facial nerve & touching her brain.
So 1 month after she starts a new job she had doctors appointment after doctors appointment after doctors appointment. During this time her tumor kept growing. So her symptoms got worse and worse and worse. Her husband had had to take her to the doctors appointments or to the hospital for tests. He end up losing his job. Candy was getting threats that she would soon lose her job if she kept taking time off work.Last week Candy was given a doctors note for work, telling them her 1 eye no longer worked, her hearing & speech was a hit & miss. So now my friend could some days talk & hear & somedays she couldn't. It all depended on the nerve this extremely large tumor was putting pressure on.
She has now gotten a date for them to remove this extremely large tumor. The surgery is going to take 3 surgeons & 16 hours to do. I will be right there in the waiting room with her children & loving husband waiting for doctors to come out of this extremely long & difficult surgery.
Shawn is now 6 months into his GI Bill, most of his classes are done online. So he will be there for the kids & Candy during her long recovery time. However now that Candy can no longer work, the income for her household has stopped. Not only that but she now has to come up with $500 a month JUST TO KEEP her insurance, while she is going thru this ordeal.
Not to mention supporting her 4 kids, Emily 7, Heaven 12, Trace 14 & Rion 17 & graduating this year.
