For the Love of Lexi

Donation protected
Alexa has been diagnosed with a very rare disease called HLH. Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) is a condition in which the body makes too many activated immune cells (macrophages and lymphocytes ).

In other words, Lexi is very sick. She is on steroids and chemo treatments and her body is not responding well. She is in incredible pain on a daily basis and she needs our prayers to get her to the bone marrow transplant that will save her life.

Lexi and her parents (Liz and Edward) and her two sisters (Ava and Stella) have the most amazing community of support who have rallied around them to help in this time of need and they are so incredibly grateful! That being said, Liz recently had to take an extended leave from work in order to care for Lexi full time. The medical bills have started to flow in and with a transplant looming, we want to help provide them with some additional support if we can. In addition, Edward will be needing to take time off work very soon because he was identified as the best match for Lexi from the bone marrow registry! This is amazing news, but it is yet another reason that the family needs our support.

If you have been following Lexi's story and you feel led to donate, please consider helping them in this time of need. If you haven't been following, here is the link to her story:
