Help Grieving Family

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Elbert Salcedo, age 26, beloved friend, son, brother, nephew and cousin passed suddenly on August 14, 2021.

Those who knew Elbert, lost a shining light in their lives.

Elbert will be missed every day by his parents, Felix and Yoselyn Salcedo, his brother Jessy, and countless other loving friends and family members.

Elbert graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from NJIT in 2017 and County Prep high school in 2013. His passion for basketball and time with friends was unparalleled. Rain or a heat wave could not stop him from setting up plans to play basketball at local Jersey City courts. He cherished the days we could spend hours upon hours playing pick-up basketball followed by late night apps at Applebee’s. Elbert did not fail to leave a profound impact to all his friends and family. The memory of his beautiful soul will be cherished and live on forever.

This fund will assist the family with funeral expenses.
