Fire Took Everything: Aid UAB Students

My friends and I, all students at UAB, recently experienced a devastating fire that broke out suddenly in our apartment and the one next to us. We were inside when it happened, and while some of us managed to escape quickly, a few friends were trapped and had to be rescued by firefighters. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, but we lost nearly everything—our clothes, beds, furniture, electronics, and study materials were all destroyed in the fire. We are currently trying to recover and are in need of help with basic necessities, temporary housing, and any form of support to get back on our feet.
