This page was created in efforts to help the Timmons family after recently being told their youngest daughter Ophelia, "Ophie" was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor.
September 1, 2023 will be a day that the Timmons family will never forget. Their world was flipped upside down when their youngest daughter, Ophie was diagnosed with a brain tumor. After a lengthy and meticulous brain surgery, and what seemed to be the longest week of their lives, they were told that Ophie's tumor was an Ependymoma. Its a rare, malignant tumor, and hers is Stage II.
They are still awaiting all the details regarding the next steps in Ophie's journey. We all know so many people are here for them and with them every step of the way. This may even include relocating out of state in order to provide Ophie with the best possible treatments available to attack this type of tumor.
Shane and Ashley both work very hard to support their family. Shane is a teacher and head football coach at Randleman High School, and Ashley, a nurse practitioner. They also have an older child, Georgia who has been an absolute trooper through all of this.
We all know this fight is just beginning, and we want to do anything and everything for the Timmons family to help support them. Bills don't stop, and life continues despite the battles they are facing. Anything you can donate will help this wonderful family to support their financial burden. Their first priority will be Ophie and her recovery.
Ashley and Shane are strong in their faith, and we know God's got this! Thank you for your continued prayers and support.
