My name is Fozail Akhtar, and Alhamdulillah, I have been blessed with the opportunity to take part in a charity deployment to Tanzania, East Africa, in February 2026 with Hope Foundation. This mission is dedicated to supporting vulnerable families who are facing severe hunger and hardship.

For many families, the question isn’t what they will eat - it’s whether they will eat.

For just £50, you can feed a family of five for an entire month.

Your generosity can be the reason a family goes to sleep with full stomachs instead of empty ones.

This project operates on a 100% donation policy, meaning every single pound you give goes directly towards supporting families in need.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.” (Tirmidhi)

Why I’m Going:

Allah has blessed me in countless ways - a roof over my head, food on my table, health, employment, family support, and comforts I often take for granted. Yet there are families who wake up every day not knowing where their next meal will come from.

This deployment represents a long-standing intention of mine: to give back in a way that has a direct and meaningful impact on those most in need.

I truly believe that when Allah blesses us, those blessings are not just for our enjoyment - they are an amanah (trust) and a responsibility. And there is no greater blessing than using what we have to serve others for the sake of Allah.
