Be A Part of Our Adoption Journey

Hi, I’m Molly and almost 6 years ago I fell in love with my wonderful husband Curtis. We knew from early on that we were each other’s forever. After just over 4 years of marriage, we’re ready for the next step in our life together, but for us it looks a little different than the average family. Due to some genetic uncertainties but a strong desire to have children, we decided early on in our relationship that we wanted to adopt when the time was right to start our family. From his background in social work and my background as an ER nurse at a children’s hospital, we know there are many children out there in need of a safe, warm, and happy place to call home. We want to be that home for a child or even a set of siblings who are currently in foster care.

Here’s where you come in, we are asking for help from our friends and families to get our adoption journey off the ground. Adoption, even from foster care, comes with a degree of financial responsibility on our part. Gifts from family and friends will be used to pay for our home study, lawyer fees, required adoption training, and preparing our home to grow our family. After all the upfront costs and requirements are taken care of, any leftover funds would be used for clothing and necessities for the kid(s).

Curtis and I are so excited and hopeful about the potential to become parents in the near future. Curtis dreams of sharing his love of sports, the outdoors, and corny jokes with our kids. I can’t wait to read books and go exploring with our little ones. Our 3 dogs are the most loving creatures and can’t wait to have a little human or more of their own. We have looked forward to this for years and we want to thank you in advance for joining us on our next great big adventure.
