If you know Heidi Thomas, then she’s probably prayed for you or helped you in some way. Personally, I’ve known Heidi over 15 years as a friend, a coworker, and then as a mother-in-law, and I couldn’t even begin to count the times I’ve seen Heidi pray for and serve others including me.
Whether it’s been through ministry or just pouring into the lives of her family and the people around her, Heidi leaves a massive impact wherever she goes. Her love for God and others is evident in everything she does. Heidi has fought for us in prayer and advocated on behalf of so many. Now it’s time to fight for her.
Unexpectedly, Heidi has been diagnosed with stage four breast cancer, which means it’s spread to several places in her body. She has already begun chemotherapy with radiation soon to follow. And we are not sure what the outcome will be. So we’ve created this gofundme to support her as she faces one of life’s most difficult journeys. I invite you to join us on her team.
The first thing I would like to ask you to do is pray. We believe that prayer is the most powerful weapon we can wield. Pray for God’s will to be done. Praying for healing. Pray for Heidi to walk in peace and grace and faith.
