Help Crossing Guard Ezra Payne!
Ezra Payne, our friendly crossing guard at the intersection of Herschel & Observatory has been at his post for the past decade, rain or shine or snow.
Three weeks ago, he had a terrible fall down stairs to his concrete basement and suffered a broken arm, and ultimately, an amputated leg.
Currently he's in a rehab center making slow progress, and is expected to endure several months of rehab until he's able to return home. With multiple surgeries and months of extended care, one can only imagine how expensive his medical bill must be, let alone the life-changing reality of losing a leg. I hope and sincerely believe our Kilgour community can extend kindness and generosity toward this dedicated crossing guard to help him in any way we can. Please show your appreciation and care by donating to the cause of Mr. Ezra Payne.
Thank you Kilgour families!
