Our family is devastated by the sudden loss of my cousin, Ezra, at just 22 years old.
He was an amazing son and an incredible big brother. His two little sisters meant everything to him. Even after moving out on his own, he still went to his mom’s house every Friday to spend time with them. Family was always a priority in his life.
Ezra was an honour roll student in high school and served in the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets. He loved being outdoors - camping, skydiving, and trying new experiences. On weekends, he would always make time for his close friends. He was thoughtful, creative, and genuinely kind.
Before his passing, Ezra reached out for help. He checked himself into the hospital for a wellness check. He was meant to receive 24/7 supervised care. Somewhere along the way, that care did not happen, and our family is left grieving a loss that should never have occurred.
We are now facing unexpected funeral expenses while his mom takes time off work to grieve and support her daughters through this unimaginable loss.
Any support whether through a donation or by sharing this page means more to our family than words can express.
