Expenses for Malcolm and Family
Donation protected
Malcolm was born in May 2017 with a heart condition such that it requires a transplant. The left ventricle and aortic valve just don't work at all. He's quite the fighter though, and done better than the doctors at Seattle Children's thought he would. He's mostly stable, but is waiting for a heart, which can take months.
Seattle Children's Hospital is working with us on paying for bills, and we don't actually owe anything from his time in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) yet. However, we do need some funds to pay for life happening while we wait for a heart. Mainly, groceries, gas, and eating out.
We live in Federal Way, and are driving to Seattle Children's at least once a day. We bring as many groceries as we can, but sometimes it's just not practical.
In short - this campaign is for money to cover operating expenses, not medical expenses. Down the road, we may need help with medical expenses and prescriptions, but for now, the most useful thing is funds for everyday life.
