Car for a Hard-Working Gal!

As many of you know, I have been providing a ride to work for a young woman for about 6 weeks or so now. My awesome friend, Megan, has been helping as well. She was recently homeless and has a stable place to stay and a good job now but lacks transportation to get there. (And she works 3rd shift so no bus transportation) Kind of a catch-22! She needs a car to get to work but work to get a car. We'd like to help!

We have the opportunity to purchase a safe, reliable car that has had a thorough mechanic check from Wichita Agape Wrench. By purchasing from this ministry, the funds will help to further their mission at the same time as helping out our friend!

She has been working and trying to save what little she can out of each check so we'd like to encourage her by matching dollar-for-dollar what she saves to cover the cost of the vehicle, tags, and insurance for 6 months.

If you'd like to help you'd be blessing this young woman as she continues to thrive. A car will give her back her independence as well as allow her to pick up overtime shifts when they become available. You'd also be blessing Megan and I with much-needed sleep as we'd be relieved from late night taxi service!
